Please select sculpture currently present in the Keil Art Bronze gallery from this list. Your chosen sculpture will be scanned by our Artec Eva scanner and made into a digital 3d model which can then be printed on our Lulzbot Taz 6 printer (pictured above). Maximum height c. 30cm imposed by size of printer, thus copy will be of reduced dimension compared to the original. Material: ColorFabb bronzefill filament. This is a composite filament composed of 20% PLA/PHA plastic material and 80% actual bronze particles.

Straight from the printer the printed sculptures look almost laser-sintered with a matt finish. The weight of the material is around three times heavier then regular PLA filament, and with sanding and polishing the bronze particles begin to shine and shimmer. Some examples of how such prints can be made to look with a bit of polishing and treatment can be seen here and here and here.

For the moment we are still refining our techniques in this area, and despite any price given above, a token charge only will be made until we are certain of producing copies of consistent quality, in both form and finish. Online orders will not be accepted until this is the case.
